Hoshiarpur:- District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Ramandeep Kaur said that District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau-cum-Model Career Center Hoshiarpur organized a career guidance program for students studying at Government Senior Secondary School (Girls) Mahilpur and Government Senior Secondary School Bombeli regarding their future career choice.
While initiating this career guidance program, Placement Officer Rakesh Kumar informed the students about the importance of Employment Bureau and provided detailed information about the facilities provided by Employment Bureau such as career counseling for the future career of children, job efforts done by Placement Cell, information about self-employment schemes, short-term technical courses. Apart from this, information was also given about various government jobs.
Apart from this, Varinder Kumar gave detailed information to the students about developing employability skills through DBEE online mobile app to help them achieve their future goals by planning from now on, so that they can overcome the difficulties of their lives and become successful and get employment.
During this career guidance program, the entire staff of both the above schools and about 190 students participated in this program with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, the Principal of Government Senior Secondary School (Girls) Mahilpur and Government Senior Secondary School Bombeli expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the District Employment and Business Bureau Hoshiarpur and asked them to organize such seminars in the future as well.
