Bus stand of village Nanakpura inaugurated People will get better transport facilities
Sangrur, June 28:- A new bus stand prepared for the convenience of the people was inaugurated today in village Nanakpura of Sangrur constituency by MLA Sangrur Mrs. Narinder Kaur Bharaj. This bus stand has been prepared at a cost of about Rs. 06.5 lakh, which will provide great relief to the villagers and travelers.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Narinder Kaur Bharaj said that the Punjab government is committed to providing basic facilities to the people and continuous efforts are being made for the development of villages. She said that this bus stand will prove to be very beneficial for the people of the village, especially students, elderly and daily commuters.
The MLA said that the pace of development works has been further accelerated in Sangrur constituency and many more projects of public interest will be started in the coming time. He said that the main objective of the government is to ensure equal development in villages and cities so that every section can get the benefit of facilities.
On this occasion, the village dignitaries and residents thanked the MLA and said that the need for this bus stand was felt for a long time and now with its completion, the passengers will also get relief from seasonal problems.
Various villagers, Panchayat members and other dignitaries were present during this event.
