Gurdaspur:- On Wednesday evening, a speeding bus of a private company lost control and overturned over a car after crossing the divider on the Amritsar-Pathankot National Highway on Babri Bypass. The bus was going from Pathankot to Amritsar. After this accident, 26 passengers on the bus were injured and have been admitted to various hospitals.
The injured include the bus driver, while the driver of the car that came under the bus narrowly escaped in this incident. The passengers said that the bus driver was driving the bus at a very high speed.
Police officers who reached the spot got the bus and the car off the road and opened the traffic and the injured were taken to the hospital.
