BSP celebrated sister Kumari Mayawatis 70th birthday as Jan Kalyan Diwas at Garhshankar

Garhshankar (January 15):- Bahujan Samaj Party celebrated the 70th birthday of national president sister Kumari Mayawati ji with great pomp and show at Dana Mandi Garhshankar today as 'Jan Kalyan Diwas'. BSP Punjab President, Central Incharge Chandigarh and former Rajya Sabha member Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri attended the function as the chief guest.
Wishes for sister's long life and promise for 2027
Addressing the rally, Dr. Karimpuri first wished his sister Kumari Mayawati ji a happy birthday and wished her long life and good health. He invited the supporters present that winning Punjab in the 2027 elections and getting her in his arms would be the biggest birthday gift.
Sharp attack on the failures of the Punjab government
Dr. Karimpuri took a dig at the AAP government in the state and said that the current government has failed on every front. He said:
Law and order: Punjab is in the hands of gangsters today and the government looks helpless and helpless.
Mafia rule: Drug mafia and sand mafia are looting Punjab as before.
Education and health: The claims of ‘revolution’ being made by the government are only on paper, in reality the education and health infrastructure have failed miserably.
Unemployment: Promises of employment to youth not kept.
Condemnation of anti-labor policies
During the ceremony, the Central and Punjab governments were called anti-labor while condemning the conspiracies to close the MGNREGA scheme. BSP demanded that the daily wage of the laborers be increased to Rs. 700 and 300 days of guaranteed employment be given in a year.
Call to join the ‘Punjab Sambalo’ campaign
Dr. Karimpuri said that for the last 78 years, Congress, Akali Dal, BJP and now ‘AAP’ have ruined Punjab. He appealed to support the BSP’s ‘Punjab Sambalo’ campaign so that ‘Badhal Punjab’ can be turned into ‘Khushal Punjab’ again in 2027.
