Chandigarh- A 12-member British Army delegation participated in the **Military Literature Festival, Chandigarh** as part of the British Army India Heritage Visit 2025*. The visit further strengthens the shared military history, mutual respect and cooperation between the armies of India and the United Kingdom.
The delegation was led by **Major Munish Chauhan**, a Surgeon in the British Army and the Project Officer of *India Heritage Visit 2025*. He said that such events are very valuable opportunities for sharing military experience and **professional military development**.
**Major Chauhan** said, *“The Military Literature Festival is not just a celebration of history or bravery — it is a symbol of leadership, courage and the shared values ??that unite soldiers from all over the world. We are proud to be a part of this important event.”*
The British Army members said the visit was an opportunity to learn professionally and draw inspiration from the rich traditions of the Indian Army.
A spokesperson said, *“India and the United Kingdom have a number of joint projects in defence education, leadership development and cultural cooperation. This visit is another step towards strengthening those relationships.”*
