Chandigarh:- As a significant contribution to the field of defence studies, the book “War and Its Various Aspects” written by renowned academician Dr. Navneet Kaur was released during a solemn and dignified function in Chandigarh. This book was released by Shri S.S. Mand, DIG, Border Security Force (BSF).
Dr. Navneet Kaur has earlier served at Amity University, Noida and is currently working as a Professor of Defence Studies at MM Modi College, Patiala.
With her vast academic experience and deep understanding of strategic studies, she has prepared this book, which is very useful for the general readers as well as the students of defence studies.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri S.S. Mand highly appreciated the efforts of Dr. Kaur and said that this book is a valuable contribution to the academic field as per the need of the hour. He particularly appreciated that Dr Kaur has filled a long-felt gap in defence literature by presenting complex topics in simple and interesting language.
This book elaborates on various aspects of war—its causes, forms, effects and its changing form in modern times. Written in simple and easy language, this book will not only increase awareness and knowledge among the readers but will also prove to be an important academic tool for students of defence and strategic studies.
