Hoshiarpur- Rayat Bahra Professional University released a book ‘Prernadayak Ek Safar’ based on the inspiring life of former MP Avinash Rai Khanna. Written by renowned author Dr. Jyoti Verma, this book beautifully and sensitively depicts Avinash Rai Khanna’s life struggles, leadership qualities, ideology and selfless commitment to social service.
The book was released by the chief guest and vice chancellor of the university, Dr. Chandra Mohan. In his address, Dr. Chandra Mohan said that ‘Prernadayak Ek Safar’ is not just a biography, but a source of inspiration that gives direction to life. He said that Avinash Rai Khanna’s life is a living example of discipline, dedication and selfless service, which inspires the youth to be conscious of their duties and work for the good of the society.
Author Dr. Jyoti Verma said that the purpose of writing this book was to promote positive thinking, self-confidence and a sense of social responsibility among the youth. He further said that Avinash Rai Khanna’s life is an inspiration to all those who serve the country and the society selflessly.
At the end of the program, Dr. Chandra Mohan congratulated author Dr. Jyoti Verma for his excellent creative efforts. He said that such works promote awareness, sensitivity and positive outlook in the society. Dignitaries, teachers and students of the city were present on the occasion.
