Book Dharti Punjab Di Released and Grand Kavi Darbar Organized by Sath
Kharar:- The literary organization Sahitak Sath Kharar today organized a grand event at Jyoti Saroop Kannya Ashra, where the poetry book “Dharti Punjab Di” by Mahinder Singh Goslan was formally released and a large Kavi Darbar was held. The chief guest of the event was eminent Punjabi writer and critic Prof. Brahm Jagdish Singh. The presidential panel included Dr. Harminder Singh, founder of Kannya Ashra, Sath president Jaswinder Singh Kainaur, and Pyara Singh Rahi.
After the book release by the presidential panel, Jaswinder Singh Kainaur and Bhupinder Singh Matoria presented their views on the book. Reading his paper, Jaswinder Singh Kainaur said that the book presents social evils, political hypocrisy, and the changing nature of human relationships in a very simple yet impactful manner. Bhupinder Matoria said that although the compositions in the book are somewhat weak in poetic rhythm, the author has succeeded in conveying his message.
The author of the book, Mahinder Singh Goslan, thanked everyone and also recited some of his poems from the book. The Kavi Darbar began with a devotional song by Tarsem Singh Kalewal. Poets including Ramandeep Kaur, Gurpreet Kaur, Manjit Pal Singh, Pyara Singh Rahi, Sarabjit Singh, Malkit Nagra, Balwinder Singh Dhillon, Dalbir Singh Saroa, Bant Singh Deep, Amarjit Kaur Morinda, Jasminder Singh Rao, Mandar Gill Sahibchandia, Khushi Ram Nimana, Kesar Singh Inspector, Gursharan Singh Kaka, Inderjit Kaur Wadla, Surinder Kaur Bara, Harjinder Singh Gopal, Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Amandeep Kaur Bhatti and Hakam Singh Nattian captivated the audience with their various poetic recitations.
Besides them, Ranjit Kaur Kainaur, Jagtaar Singh, Rajwinder Singh Gaddu, Pratap Singh, Bhag Singh Shahpur and Amandeep Singh were also present at the event. The stage was skillfully conducted by Pyara Singh Rahi.
While delivering the presidential address, Dr. Harminder Singh shared detailed and emotional information about the institution. Chief guest Prof. Brahm Jagdish Singh congratulated the author while speaking about the book and also offered some suggestions. He appreciated the poetic compositions presented in the Kavi Darbar and praised the efforts being made by the Sath.
