New Delhi: Two days after a man broke into the assembly gate in an SUV the other day, the Delhi Assembly received bomb threats through an email on Thursday.
According to initial information, the email claimed that Delhi would become Khalistan and contained a threat of a suicide bomb attack in the city.
The message immediately raised concerns among the authorities, prompting swift action by security agencies. Bomb disposal squads and dog squads have been deployed as a precaution in the wake of the threat, while a thorough check is being carried out inside the building.
Delhi Police has started an investigation to trace the source of the email. Cyber ??experts are examining technical details including IP address and servers to identify the sender of the mail.
