BLOs are sweating in the SIR program
Ambala, June 26:- Under the SIR program in Ambala, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are sweating to provide counting forms to the voters. They are going door to door and giving full support to each voter in filling their form with correct and complete information.
Today, seeing BLO Sunita Kaushal working in Tribune Colony of Ambala Cantt, I felt that the BLOs are really working hard. She got the forms filled by the colony residents on the spot. She told that mapping is still going on and after that the voter list will be revised smoothly. Her son Abhinav was also supporting this work.
Although some opponents are raising noise regarding SIR, but seeing the work being done in this regard today, I felt that SIR is very much a statue. In the concerned colony itself, the names of such voters in the 2002 list are there who have either passed away or left the city. Sunita Kaushal said that the new votes will be made after July 1.
On the other hand, SDM Darshan Kumar said that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) program of the voter lists is being implemented rapidly in the district. As part of this campaign, information is being provided to the eligible voters about filling the counting form and submitting it to the BLO. Voters can also fill their own counting forms at the concerned booths and submit them to the BLO.
He appealed to all the voters to fill the counting form with correct and complete information and submit it on time so that the voter list can be updated and made error-free. He said that it is the responsibility of every citizen and voter to contribute to making the election process strong and transparent.
