Nawanshahr:- A blood donation camp was organized at the local BDC Blood Center under the leadership of District Red Cross. 18 blood donors donated blood in this camp. On this occasion, President SK Sarin said that this day dedicated to the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, the founder of the World Red Cross, always inspires us to serve humanity.
JS Gidda said that this year the theme of World Red Cross Day has been kept as “Keep Humanity Alive”. Dr Ajay Bagga said that the greatness of blood donation service on World Red Cross Day is that this service becomes a symbol of equality and communal harmony. At the beginning of the blood donation camp, Balraj Rai and Prince Gujarpur donated blood.
