BJP Failed to Fulfill Promises Made to the Public Deepender Hooda

Karnal, June 8: While attending various events in Karnal, MP Deepender accused the BJP government of failing to fulfill its election promises. Addressing a workers' conference organized by Sher Pratap Sheri at the Sanatan Dharma Seva Samiti Community Center, he stated that the BJP has yet to honor several key pledges made to the elderly, women, farmers, and the youth.
Deepender Hooda noted that during the assembly elections, the BJP had promised a monthly pension of ?6,000 for the elderly, ?2,100 per month for women under the 'Lado Lakshmi Yojana,' a procurement price of ?3,100 per quintal for paddy for farmers, and domestic LPG cylinders at ?500. He alleged that after coming to power, the government failed to take the expected action on these promises, while the prices of cooking gas continue to rise.
Raising the issue of employees working under the HKRN (Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam), he stated that the government had assured the regularization of employees' services; however, contrary to this, the jobs of many have been adversely affected. He also referred to previous schemes aimed at providing plots of land to people belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes.
The Congress MP affirmed that his party would continue to vigorously raise issues concerning the youth, farmers, employees, and the general public. Citing the recent agitation over the paper leak incident, he declared that the struggle to secure justice for the youth would persist. He further asserted that the Congress would keep raising its voice to compel the BJP government to fulfill its election promises.
Several senior Congress leaders, former MLAs, office-bearers, and a large number of party workers were present on the occasion. Many political and social activists from the district, including Divyanshu Budhiraja—the Congress candidate in the recent Lok Sabha elections—participated in the event.
