Biography of Shaheed Udham Singh should be included in curriculum Narendra Bhyana
Hansi:– Under the chairmanship of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Organization Committee President Sardar Krishna Ilawadi, 86th martyrdom day of Amar Shaheed Udham Singh was celebrated with reverence and respect at Pawan Dham Bajrang Ashram, Hansi. As chief guest, former Chairman of HAFED Narendra Bhyana reached with his colleagues Ashok Kanaujia and Saurabh Kathuria.
During the program, all guests and citizens present offered flowers on the statue of Shaheed Udham Singh and paid heartfelt tribute to him and filled the atmosphere with patriotism with slogans of "Shaheed Udham Singh Amar Rahe". In the program, Kishori Nagpal welcomed all guests.
Chief Guest Narendra Bhyana in his address said that life of Shaheed Udham Singh is a unique example of patriotism, courage and sacrifice. He said that biography of Shaheed Udham Singh along with other freedom fighters should be included in the curriculum of schools, so that new generation can take inspiration from their struggle, sacrifice and patriotism. He said that the free environment in which we are living today is the result of the supreme sacrifice of these great revolutionaries.
Committee President Sardar Krishna Ilawadi said that on 31 July 1940, Shaheed Udham Singh was hanged in Pentonville Jail, England. He avenged the massacre of thousands of innocent Indians by shooting British officer General Dyer, guilty of Jallianwala Bagh massacre, in London. This historic sacrifice further ignited the flame of freedom in the minds of countrymen.
In the program, President Veena Choudhary, Councilor Suman Sharma, Monika Jangra, Subhash Mahta, Dr. Munna Arora, Hamesh Khurana, Ramswaroop Khattar, Fateh Singh, Jaibeer Fauji, Pyare Lal Fauji, Omprakash Yadav, Ajay Bhardwaj, Ma. Maglu, Karmveer Shastri, Kamal Kishore Shastri, Vijaypal Shastri, Omprakash Munjal, Kashmiri Lal Grover, Kashmiri Bajaj, Ravinder Sharma, Khemchand Sharma, Kamal Bhyana, Rohit and many dignitaries were present.
