Bikram Singh Majithia released from Nabha jail after bail
Patiala/Nabha, February 3:- Former minister and senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia today called upon Punjabis to create a people's movement and free Punjab from the clutches of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders in Delhi so that they can take their own decisions for the welfare of their state.
After being released on bail from Nabha jail, he stressed that whatever happens, he will continue to raise his voice for all Punjabis including farmers, youth, employees and traders. He said that the AAP government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann cannot break him because 'Tiger Abhi is alive'. During this, people also raised slogans of 'Majithia, we will protect your thoughts by knocking them down'.
Bikram Singh Majithia also appealed to the Supreme Court to intervene and direct the UPSC to immediately remove ad hoc DGP Gaurav Yadav from office. He accused the police officer of pleasing Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann and acting like a puppet, demanding that the DGP give an affidavit that there is no threat to his life and said that such conditions are being deliberately created so that he can be killed.
He alleged that if Bhagwant Mann had insisted, he would have killed him in jail. While he was in jail, he was not even allowed to meet his family members and lawyers. All this was done to break him mentally and his human rights were also violated.
Majithia said that the Patiala Police even compromised with the security of Radha Soami Dera Beas chief Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon and his car was stopped at a distance while selected journalists were allowed to come forward and ask questions of their choice. He said that he is grateful to Baba Ji who has bestowed his blessings on him and also to all the great people who have blessed him in this difficult time.
The Akali leader also thanked the leaders of various parties who stood by him in difficult times. After his release from Nabha jail, Bikram Singh Majithia also paid homage at the historic Gurdwara Patshahi Nauvi Gurdwara Sri Dukh Niwaran Sahib in Patiala and thanked the Guru Sahib. Former Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Sardar Virsa Singh Valtoha and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion.
