Karnal, June 16: A tragic road accident in Karnal district has shaken the entire region. Four people riding a motorcycle met with an accident when the door of a car parked by the roadside suddenly opened. Two brothers died on the spot, while their mother and maternal uncle sustained serious injuries.
According to reports, the two brothers were traveling on a motorcycle with their mother and maternal uncle. Suddenly, the driver of a car parked on the roadside opened the door without checking behind. The speeding motorcycle collided directly with the open car door. The impact was so severe that the motorcycle lost its balance, and all four riders fell onto the road.
Eyewitnesses stated that a speeding dumper approaching from behind ran over the two brothers while out of control. The accident was so horrific that both young men died instantly. Their mother and maternal uncle were critically injured and immediately rushed to the hospital; doctors describe their condition as serious. A tragedy of immense proportions has befallen the family. The relatives are inconsolable over the simultaneous loss of two sons from the same family, and an atmosphere of mourning prevails in the area.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene, took possession of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examinations. A case has been registered against both the car driver and the dumper driver, and an investigation is underway.
