Big success of Ambala Police Woman arrested with 708 grams of heroin

Ambala, 26 March- As part of a special campaign against drug traffickers, Baldev Nagar Police has achieved a major success. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid at a house on Dasmesh Nagar, Jadaut Road, and arrested a woman red-handed with 708 grams of heroin.
Station House Officer Inspector Dharmveer Singh, during a press conference, stated that the police had received information that illegal trade of narcotic substances was increasing in the area. Based on this information, a team was formed and a raid was conducted, during which a large quantity of heroin was recovered from the possession of the woman. The arrested woman was presented before the honorable court and taken on police remand to trace the supply chain of narcotic substances.
The Station House Officer further stated that during the investigation, the shocking involvement of the woman’s husband Amar Singh alias Amra and one of his associates has come to light. Accused Amar Singh is a notorious criminal against whom around 27 serious cases, including drug trafficking and theft, are registered in various police stations of Punjab and Haryana. Amar Singh is currently absconding, and police teams are conducting raids to arrest him.
