Bharat Vikas Parishad launches tree planting campaign
Ambala, July 4:- To create awareness about the environment, Geeta Gopal Shakha of Bharat Vikas Parishad today launched a tree planting campaign at S.A. Jain Senior Model School Ambala city as part of its flagship programme, “Pariavaran Sankalp”. The programme was conducted by Environment Coordinator Deepanshu Agarwal.
Addressing the gathering, he stressed on the importance of planting and taking care of trees to combat pollution and climate change. Various types of trees were planted in the campus and students and staff took a pledge to take care of them. Principal Dr. Renu Gehlawat and the school management committee honored the members of Bharat Vikas Parishad with mementos and a symbolic plant, appreciating their efforts towards environment conservation.
Rajat Jain, Vice President of the Management Committee, Dr. Vineet Jain, Secretary Hitesh Jain, Manager Ritesh Jain, Treasurer Sunil Jain, Advisor Ravi Kant Jain and Principal Dr. Renu Gehlawat expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Geeta Gopal branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad for this meaningful initiative.
