Bharat Vikas Parishad Krishna Branch Distributes Educational Supplies to 40 Needy Children

Karnal, June 30: Under the leadership of Branch President Smt. Sonia Mehta, and inspired by the vision of the organization's founding General Secretary Dr. Suraj Prakash, the Bharat Vikas Parishad (Krishna Branch, Karnal) distributed school bags, books, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other educational materials to approximately 40 needy children. The distribution took place in the settlement located near Radha-Krishna Gaushala, Arjun Gate, Karnal, to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Suraj Prakash.
These materials were provided by Sh. Naresh Arora and Smt. Harshita Sukhija. The program commenced with the singing of 'Vande Mataram'. A true source of inspiration for everyone is Priyanka, an 18-year-old resident of the settlement; despite having lost a leg, she has been providing free education to younger children for the past two years using crutches, all while pursuing her own studies in the 12th grade.
On this occasion, Smt. Sonia Mehta shared inspiring words with the children regarding the importance of education and moral values. For this service initiative, Smt. Neetu Arora provided two floor mats for the children to sit on, and the project coordinator arranged refreshments for all the children. Following the conclusion of the program, all branch members visited the Radha-Krishna Gaushala, where they reverently performed the *Aarti* of 'Gau-Mata' (Mother Cow) and pledged to serve the cows.
Thus, a beautiful confluence of service and devotion was witnessed. Branch members Rita Madan, Raj Arora, Suman Tarika, Ajit Tarika, Jyoti Arora, Sonia Hans, Rakesh Hans, and Rajni Puri played a pivotal role in making this service project a success. Bharat Vikas Parishad (Krishna Branch, Karnal) extends its heartfelt gratitude and thanks to them for their spirit of service and dedication.
