Bhangra Training Camp at Sikh National College Banga Starting June 8th
Banga/Nawanshahr: As is the tradition every year, the 7th Bhangra training camp is being organized once again at Sikh National College, Banga. Sharing details regarding this initiative, Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder announced that the Bhangra training provided during this camp—commencing on Monday, June 8, 2026—will be entirely free of cost.
All participants who undergo the training will also be awarded certificates during the camp's closing ceremony. The training during this camp will be imparted by Pawan Bhai Ajimal, a renowned instructor from the Doaba region, who will teach traditional Bhangra dance postures to the rhythmic beats of the *dhol*. The presence of prominent personalities from the field of Bhangra is also expected to grace the occasion and add to the grandeur of the camp.
Therefore, an open invitation is extended to Bhangra enthusiasts of all ages—both boys and girls—to participate in this camp. Registration is mandatory. Present on this occasion were Manmant Singh (Librarian), Pawan Bhai (Bhangra Instructor), Simranjit Kaur Sian, Palak Dhillon, Manjot Kaur, Deepinder Kaur, Simranjit Singh, Karandeep Singh Cheta, Taran Ajimal, and other students.
