Bhagat Puran Singh Environmental Conservation Society meeting held
SAS Nagar, October 13- The meeting of Bhagat Puran Singh Environmental Conservation Society (Regd) was held under the chairmanship of the society’s president Gurmail Singh Mojowal. In the meeting, it was unanimously decided that a herbal park should be built in Phase 11, in which various types of herbal plants should be planted and the plants should be supplied free of cost to the needy.
During the meeting, the speakers said that many diseases can be treated with herbal plants sitting at home. In the meeting, great concern was expressed that many precious lives are being lost due to stray cows. During the meeting, it was said that crores of rupees are being collected in the name of cows.
But thousands of cows are roaming freely in cities and towns, which are proving to be life-threatening for passers-by. Although every human being is very precious, recently, renowned Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda fell victim to a serious accident due to cows. During the meeting, deep sorrow was expressed over the death of Rajvir Jawanda and a demand was made from the government that proper arrangements be made for the care of stray cows.
Society members Gurinder Singh, Ajinder Singh, DP Hoshiarpuri, Sarwan Ram, Ranjit Singh Jullu, Balbir Singh Saini, Jaswinder Singh Kler, Charan Singh Garhi, Fakir Chand Thind, Bhupinder Singh Nagpal, Nachhattar Singh Khiala, Balbir Singh Jathedar, Bibi Amarjit Kaur, Suresh Bhanot and Harbans were present in the meeting.
