Bathinda:- Five people, including a girl, have died in a horrific road accident that occurred due to dense fog on the Bathinda-Bikaner National Highway. According to information, the Fortuner vehicle with the number plate of the state of Gujarat was going from Bathinda to Dabwali. Due to low visibility during the fog, the driver lost balance and the vehicle collided with the road divider. The collision was so fast that all the five people in the vehicle died on the spot.
The age of the deceased is said to be between 25 and 30 years. The deceased have been identified as Arjun, Satish, Janak, Bharat and Amita. All of them were residents of Banaskantha district of Gujarat. According to information, these youths were going towards Dabwali via Bathinda after a Shimla trip.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started relief work. The bodies of the deceased have been kept in the mortuary of the Civil Hospital in Bathinda. The police are conducting further investigation into the accident.
