Baisakhi and Khalsa Sajna Diwas celebrated with devotion

Kharar, April 14:- April 14, 2026 marks 327 years since the creation of the Khalsa Panth. On the day of Baisakhi in 1699, the tenth Guru, Sahib-e-Kamal Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, founded the Khalsa Panth on the holy land of Anandpur Sahib. Panj Pyare: Guru Ji made everyone equal by eradicating the discrimination of caste and creed and bestowed the gift of nectar on the 'Panj Pyare' by eliminating the barriers of division and division.
Panth: By creating the Khalsa Panth, Guru Ji made the Sikhs saints-soldiers, who were ready to fight against oppression and protect the religion. Anandpur Sahib Celebration: Every year, on Khalsa Sajna Divas, special diwans are decorated in Gurdwaras all over the world, including Anandpur Sahib and Amritsar, and Gurbani is sung. This day brings unity, courage and inspiration for the Sikh community to follow the path of religion.
On the 327th Khalsa Sajna Divas, as per the wishes of Guru Sahib Ji, the message is being given to become a follower of Gurmat and adopt the qualities of 'Khalsa' by taking Amrit. Accordingly, Khalsa Sajna Divas and Baisakhi were celebrated with great pomp and show at Gurdwara Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Singh Sabha Sunny Enclave today. Akhand Path Sahib was started from the day before yesterday, of which Bhog was performed today. After the Bhog, Gurbani Kirtan was performed for one hour by Bhai Simranjit Singh Angad Hazuri, a member of the Gurdwara Sahib.
Dhadi Varan Dhadi Jatha Balvir Singh Rangeela entertained the congregation with his Dhadi Vara for one and a half hours. Later, the Katha Vachak and Head Granthi of Gurdwara Sahib, Bhai Gurcharan Singh Ji, informed the congregation about the history of the Guru through his Katha views on the festival of Baisakhi in detail. On this occasion, Amrit Pan was organized on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in which about 25 to 30 Puranas took Amrit.
Later, the President of Gurdwara Sahib, Sardar Rajinder Singh Babbu, congratulated the congregation on the occasion of Baisakhi and honored the distinguished personalities by giving them Siropa. On this occasion, the Vice President of Gurdwara Sahib, Sardar Harmesh Singh, General Secretary Prem Singh Maloa, Manjit Singh Jakhu, Tarlochan Singh, Beant Singh, Bhagwant Singh Treasurer, Harminder Singh, Gopal Singh, Kulwinder Singh Harbhajan Singh, Sohan Singh, and other members were present.
