Baba Deep Singhs martyrdom will always be remembered in history Mangpreet Singh
Karnal, November 15: The martyrdom day of Baba Deep Singh began today at Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Deep Singh, Sector 2. The two-day martyrdom day will conclude on Sunday with Amrit Sanchar. On the first day, Ragi and Dhadi groups sang the praises of the Guru. On this occasion, Naam Simran was performed and the Guru's court was decorated. An unbroken langar was also arranged for the Sangat.
Religious preacher and storyteller Mangpreet Singh highlighted the martyrdom of the ninth Guru of the Sikh sect, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He described Baba Deep Singh's martyrdom as the greatest martyrdom of this century. He said that followers of Sanatan Dharma in the country should also celebrate Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's martyrdom day in temples. The protection of Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist religions is a result of the sacrifices of the Gurus.
The Gurus always sacrificed their lives for the protection of humanity and religion. After this, the Dhaadi group sang the praises of the Gurus. The head of the Gurudwara, Baba Gulab Singh, honored Baba Joga Singh from Tariwadi Sheesh Ganj Gurudwara, Bhai Gurmel Singh from Ekta Colony, Mayor Renubala Gupta and Jathedar Inderpal Singh, General Secretary of the Guruparv Prabandhak Committee, by presenting them Siropas.
Thousands of people attended the program. Baba Gulab Singh informed that on Sunday too, the Ragi-Dhaadi groups will sing the praises of the Guru and Amrit Sanchar will take place from 2 pm onwards.
