Ayush Gram Mela to be Held in Chururu on March 29
Una, March 25: The Department of Ayush, District Una, will organize an 'Ayush Gram Mela' (Ayush Village Fair) and a free health camp in Chururu, under the Amb subdivision, on March 29, 2026. This information was provided by the Acting District Ayurveda Officer, Dr. Rajesh Kumar.
He stated that the objective of the fair is to raise awareness among the general public regarding traditional systems of medicine—such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy—and to provide them with health-related services.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar mentioned that during the fair, specialist doctors will conduct screenings for various ailments and provide free medical consultations to the public. Additionally, Ayurvedic medicines will be distributed, demonstrations of Yoga and Pranayama will be held, and information regarding the adoption of a healthy lifestyle will be shared.
He further informed that exhibition stalls representing various departments related to Ayush will be set up at the event, where the general public will be provided with information regarding Ayurvedic treatment modalities such as Panchakarma, Ksharasutra, Agnikarma, and Jalaukavacharana (Leech Therapy).
A special health check-up camp for the local residents will also be organized at the fair, offering distinct health facilities tailored to the needs of women, children, and the elderly.
The Acting District Ayurveda Officer has appealed to the residents of the region to attend the fair in large numbers and avail themselves of the free health services being offered.
