Awareness programs organized in Central Jail Legal Aid Clinics and Schools

Hoshiarpur:- District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur, following the guidelines of Punjab State Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar and the orders of District and Sessions Judge Hoshiarpur Rajinder Agarwal, is conducting an awareness campaign in various villages of district Hoshiarpur and sub-divisions under the leadership of Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Neeraj Goyal.
Under this, awareness programs were organized today at Government High School Kamalpur, Legal Aid Clinic/Sanjh Kendra Model Town Hoshiarpur, Guru Ramdas Ji Nursing College Hoshiarpur, Government High School Muradpur Guru Ka, Legal Aid Clinic Garhshankar, Government Senior Secondary School Jandoli, Government Senior Secondary School Magunwal Doaba, Government Senior Secondary School Webal Manjh and Central Jail Hoshiarpur.
On this occasion, panel advocates informed the students about their legal rights regarding the 'Child Marriage Free India' campaign and told them that the marriageable age of a girl should not be less than 18 years and that of a boy should not be less than 21 years.
Along with this, they informed the people about NALSA's environmental legal literacy and community safety initiative, titled 'Protect Today, Protect Tomorrow', and informed them that stubble should not be burned in villages. Nor should plastic be set on fire. Because its smoke spreads pollution in the air, which causes many diseases. Apart from this, information was given about the 'Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) AIDS' campaign.
