Ambala:- On the occasion of World Kidney Day, an awareness program was organized today at Park Healing Touch Hospital, Ambala to promote kidney health and educate people about the importance of early detection and prevention of kidney diseases.
Speaking on the occasion, Consultant Nephrologist Dr. Jyoti Aggarwal shared valuable information about kidney diseases, their causes, symptoms, preventive measures, and the importance of regular health check-ups.
She emphasized that kidney diseases often develop silently in the early stages without any clear symptoms. Therefore, regular screening becomes extremely important, especially for individuals suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, or those who have a family history of kidney disease.
During the program, special emphasis was also placed on organ donation awareness. A poster-making competition was also organized to spread awareness about kidney health and organ donation.
