MELBOURNE: Three people were killed and another injured in a shooting in a town in the Australian state of New South Wales on Thursday. Emergency services were called to Lake Cargeligo after the shooting.
The town has a population of about 1,500. Police said two women were among the dead. Another person was hospitalized in a serious condition. The attacker or attackers are feared to have escaped. Police have urged people to stay away from the area and local residents to stay indoors.
