Assandh MLA Yogendra Rana gets big responsibility
Chandigarh, November 11 - Haryana Government has appointed Assandh MLA Yogendra Rana as the Chairman of the State Level Task Force formed under the Swachh Bharat Mission. He formally assumed charge at the Panchayat Bhawan program in Chandigarh today.
On this occasion, Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar congratulated him on assuming the new responsibility. He said that with the experience, energy and public service spirit of Mr. Rana, the cleanliness campaign in the state will get a new direction and momentum.
Mr. Panwar said that Haryana is already an ODF Plus state and now the goal is to maintain this continuous cleanliness as an ideal model. He said that the Swachh Bharat Mission launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now taken the form of a people's movement. The government is fully committed to taking this campaign to new heights under the guidance of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini.
The Development and Panchayat Minister said that with the formation of a state-level task force, the activities of the mission will be more organized, strong and result-oriented. This task force will establish coordination between various departments and effectively implement sanitation efforts in both rural and urban areas.
