Chandigarh, November 28 - On the occasion of Sashakt Sena Flag Day on December 07, Haryana Governor Professor Asim Kumar Ghosh and Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini have appealed to the people of the state to contribute with their willingness and open hearts for the noble work of rehabilitation of war widows, disabled soldiers and needy ex-servicemen.
The joint appeal issued by both the Governor and the Chief Minister has said that like every year, this year too our nation is celebrating Armed Forces Flag Day on December 07, 2025 in honour of the Armed Forces. This sacred occasion gives us an opportunity to remember the brave soldiers of the Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives to protect our motherland.
This is the day when we honour the martyrs of the country, show our solidarity with the Armed Forces, and express our sensitivity towards the war widows, disabled and needy ex-servicemen, assuring them that the entire country is with them.
Flag Day provides us all citizens with a golden opportunity to show our respect and solidarity towards them by contributing generously for the welfare of the serving and retired soldiers of the Armed Forces and their families. The people of Haryana have always respected the brave soldiers and their families from the bottom of their hearts.
Finally, on this occasion, we appeal to all the people of Haryana to make the Armed Forces Flag Day-2025 a success by contributing willingly and generously for the noble work of rehabilitation of the war widows, disabled soldiers and needy ex-servicemen.
