Apply for Skill Development Training by April 10 Awas Pandit

Una, April 1: Under the aegis of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, and in collaboration with the Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Shimla, a free skill development training program is being organized for youth belonging to the Scheduled Caste category. Providing this information, District Welfare Officer Awas Pandit stated that this program is being conducted under the *Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana* (Prime Minister's Scheme for the Upliftment of Scheduled Castes), with the support of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
He further informed that the institute will provide training in two specific courses: 'Concepts of Artificial Intelligence Technology' and 'Office Automation, Accounting, and Publishing Assistant.'
He added that, as per the eligibility criteria, it is mandatory for applicants to belong to the Scheduled Caste category and to be permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh. Applications for the training—submitted on plain paper along with the necessary documents—may be submitted at the office of the District Welfare Officer, Una, by April 10.
