Another Indian student murdered in Canada Attackers attacked with knives
Ottawa:- Once again, a case of death of a person of Indian origin under suspicious circumstances has come to light in Canada. This time, a 22-year-old Indian student from Gujarat, Vidhi Megha, was stabbed to death in the Niagara region. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of deep anger and grief in the Indian community.
The deceased has been identified as Vidhi Megha, a resident of Borsad in Anand district of Gujarat. She had gone to Canada for higher education and was pursuing her studies there. It is being told that, in an attempt to secure her future, Vidhi was also preparing for permanent residence in Canada.
According to her family members, Vidhi used to work part-time jobs along with her studies to meet her expenses. The family describes her as a hard-working and ambitious student who was constantly striving to fulfill her dreams. Reports indicate that Vidhi went missing suddenly on May 15. After an extensive search, her body was recovered from the Niagara region near the Canada-US border. Initial investigations have revealed that she was brutally murdered by an unknown assailant with a knife.
Canadian police have registered a case of murder and have started an investigation. According to police officials, the matter is being investigated from all angles, and the search for the suspect is on. Officials have expressed confidence that the accused will be arrested soon.
