Jaito, November 28: The schedule of Zila Parishad and Panchayat elections in Punjab has been announced today. According to the State Election Commission, Punjab, the elections will be held from December 14, 2025 from 8 am to 4 pm. The counting of votes will be held on December 17, 2025. 
The process of filing nominations is starting from December 1, and will continue till December 4, 2025. The scrutiny of nomination papers will be on December 5, and the last date for withdrawal of names is December 6. A code of conduct has been implemented for these elections and through ballot papers. According to sources, there are a total of 23 Zila Parishads and 13,241 Gram Panchayats in Punjab.
