Ambala, May 29: Ambala Police organized a special farewell and felicitation ceremony at the Police Officers' Institute, Ambala City, today. The event was organized to honour officers and employees who retired from the department and to recognize their dedicated service.
Deputy Superintendent of Ambala Police, Jagbir Singh, along with other senior officers and staff, attended the event. During the ceremony, retired Inspector Suresh Kumar, Inspector Jagpal Singh, Inspector Roshan Lal, Inspector Gurdarshan Singh, Inspector Mohan Lal, Inspector Rajinder Kumar, Sub-Inspector Jang Bahadur, Sub-Inspector Prithvi Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ram Karan, and Constable Balwinder Singh were honoured with mementos and garlands.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police wished all the retired officers a healthy life and a bright future, stating that these officers served society with utmost dedication and sincerity during their tenure. He also appealed to the other police officers present to draw inspiration from the spirit of service and discipline displayed by their retired colleagues.
Moved by the honour, the retired officers and their families praised the felicitation ceremony, describing it as the most memorable day of their lives, and expressed their gratitude to the department for the honour bestowed upon them.
