Amarjit Kaunke Satpal Bhikhi and Chitta Sidhu honoured by Desh Bhagat Hall
Jalandhar:- Editor of Pratiman, a popular literary magazine, extremely sensitive poet of Punjabi poetry world, in search of Nirvana, dual story, belief, words will remain, lantern of memories and thirst after which his new poetry book 'Is Dharti Te Rehndiyan' is in discussion these days and he and Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall family, connected to the soil for decades, editor of Tasman whose much talked about poetry book, 'Kavita Ki Teri Ki Meri De' was launched at the Ghadri Babas' Fair, well-known poet Satpal Bhikhi and interlocutor Chitta Sidhu were honoured today at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall.
On this occasion, Amarjit Kaunke also shared his newly created poem. On the occasion of this meeting, discussions were also held about the proud role of literature related to the pulse of public concerns even in the era of literature, art, society, migration, social media and new magic of establishment. These three writers expressed their pride in the glorious role being played by Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall as a patriotic center in the field of history, literature and culture and as their common yard for the meeting of writers.
On this occasion, General Secretary of Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee Gurmeet Singh, Finance Secretary Sital Singh Sangha, Convener of Cultural Wing Amolak Singh and Senior Trustee Surinder Kumari Kochhar honored Amarjit Kauke, Satpal Bhikhi and interlocutor Chitta Sidhu by presenting sets of books and appealed to them to always stay connected with Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall. They said that our services expressed their happiness to continue offering their services to keep the flowers of healthy, rich, pro-people literature blooming in the yard of Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall.
