Una, February 28th: ??Residential plots are being allotted to 27 eligible Bhakra Dam displaced families in compliance with orders passed by the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
This allotment process will be completed on March 18th at 11:30 am in village Desu Jodhan, Tehsil Dabwali, District Sirsa (Haryana). The Executive Engineer, R&M and SR Division, BBMB, Nangal Township, along with relevant officials will be present to ensure a transparent and smooth process.
According to information received from the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Una, the Deputy Commissioner (Resettlement), Fatehabad, has requested all Bhakra Dam displaced persons from Una and Bilaspur to appear in the residential area reserved for Bhakra Dam displaced persons on the scheduled date and time to participate in the allotment process. These include Shri Dhian Singh son of Shri Sundar, previous village Dhiongli, Tehsil and District Una and Narayan Devi (widow) daughter of Ratan Singh, village Magnohal Miyan, Tehsil and District Una from Una district.
It is noteworthy that residential plots are being provided to 27 eligible Bhakra Dam displaced families settled in village Desu Jodha as per the court order, fulfilling the long pending demand, the rehabilitation process will get speed and the affected families will get significant relief towards permanent housing.
