Adequate Stock of Gas Cylinders in the District Uttam Singh
Karnal, April 11: Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh stated that the supply of petrol, diesel, and domestic LPG gas in the district is completely normal. There is an adequate stock of gas cylinders available. As per regulations, gas cylinders are being supplied to consumers after a 25-day interval, just as before. The general public need not panic. Do not pay heed to any kind of rumors.
According to Mukesh Kumar, the District Controller of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs (DFSC), there are 42 gas agencies in the district, and domestic gas cylinders are being regularly made available to consumers through all these authorized agencies. He informed that as of April 11, the district holds a stock of 19,273 gas cylinders, with an additional 7,814 cylinders currently en route from outside sources.
Today, 7,412 domestic and 216 commercial gas cylinders were distributed to consumers through various gas agencies across the district. There is no shortage of domestic gas cylinders in the district.
He further stated that the District Administration and the Food and Supplies Department are continuously monitoring the availability and distribution system of gas cylinders to ensure that consumers do not face any inconvenience and that the supply chain remains smooth. A strict watch is being kept in the district to prevent the black marketing, hoarding, and unauthorized use of gas cylinders.
