Una, March 13:- The Deputy Commissioner of Una stated that there is absolutely no shortage of domestic gas cylinders, petrol, or diesel in the Una district. All gas agencies operating within the district possess adequate stocks of domestic gas cylinders, and regular supply to consumers is being ensured. Furthermore, the government will also ensure the availability of kerosene oil as per requirements.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that, in order to maintain the availability of commercial gas cylinders, approximately 20 percent of the supply in the district has been earmarked for commercial connections, thereby ensuring that business establishments do not face any inconvenience.
He urged consumers to refrain from panic-booking gas cylinders. Once a booking is placed—whether through a mobile application or a toll-free number—it is automatically confirmed; therefore, there is no need to place repeated bookings.
Additionally, he clarified that petrol and diesel are also available in sufficient quantities within the district. The general public has been appealed to avoid hoarding these fuels unnecessarily and to disregard any kind of rumors. He further stated that the supply of commercial gas cylinders to all medical and educational institutions in the district would be ensured in accordance with their specific requirements.
Appealing to the residents of the district for their cooperation, the Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the availability of all essential commodities remains normal and urged the general public to steer clear of any misleading information or rumors.
