Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 17: The quarterly meeting of District Sainik Board, SAS Nagar was held today at the Deputy Commissioner's office under the chairmanship of Mrs. Geetika Singh, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General). In this meeting, Group Captain Davinder Singh Dhillon (Retd), District Defence Services Welfare Officer, SAS Nagar, shed light on the ongoing work of the department and presented the progress report of the office from 01.04.2025 to 30.09.2025 and apprised the House about the various schemes being run in the department.
During the meeting, the Additional Deputy Commissioner issued instructions to the concerned departments on various issues raised by the District Defence Services Welfare Officer and ordered them to be resolved on priority basis. During the meeting, District Defence Services Officer Group Captain Davinder Singh Dhillon (Retd) also apprised about the legal clinic established at the office.
During this meeting, Mr. Angrej Singh Deputy DEO (Secondary), Mrs. Parminder Kaur, DEO (Primary), Mr. Manjot Singh, ASI, Punjab Police, Mr. Davinder Singh SDM Office, Mr. Randhir Singh, Superintendent and office staff were present.
