Una, March 30: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Una, Mahendra Pal Gurjar, today (Monday) inspected the warehouse housing Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines, located in Sub-Mohal Bagh, near the Truck Union.
During the inspection, the ADC took a detailed stock of the preparations related to the maintenance, security arrangements, and overall management of the machines. He directed officials to ensure strict adherence to all security standards and guidelines within the warehouse.
He emphasized that the secure custody and proper management of EVM and VVPAT machines constitute the primary prerequisite for a fair and transparent electoral process.
Present on this occasion were SDM Una Abhishek Mittal, Tehsildar (Elections) Suman Kapoor, and Naib Tehsildar (Elections) Ajay Kumar.
