Hoshiarpur:- Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar today held an important meeting with officers of various departments of the district administration regarding the preparations for the tableaux to be put up on the occasion of Republic Day. The objective of the meeting was to complete the Republic Day function organized on January 26 in a dignified and orderly manner.
ADC (Development) said during the meeting that Republic Day is not only a national festival, but also an important opportunity to showcase the unity, integrity and values of the country and the Constitution. He directed that the development achievements of the district, government schemes, social messages and cultural heritage should be effectively displayed through tableaux.
He directed all the concerned departments to complete the work on time in coordination with each other. Special attention was given to the theme, design, material and presentation of the tableaux so that a positive message could reach the general public. Along with this, safety norms, traffic arrangements and technical aspects were also discussed in detail.
ADC Nikas Kumar clarified that every department should take its responsibility seriously and no negligence should be indulged in. He said that the image of the district is linked to the quality and discipline of the tableaux, hence all the preparations should be of high standard.
Officers of the concerned departments were present in the meeting and they informed the ADC about the progress of the preparations. At the end of the meeting, ADC (Development) called upon all the officers to work together to ensure a successful event. Assistant Commissioner Oishi Mandal, Assistant Commissioner (G) Parampreet Singh and other officers were also present on the occasion.
