Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 20 February, 2026:- Exercising the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the Additional District Magistrate, Smt. Geetika Singh, has cancelled the license of Marg Group Firm.
According to the Additional District Magistrate, Marg Group Firm, located at SCF No. 65, Top Floor, Phase-5, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owned by Shri Manjinder Singh, son of Shri Kuldeep Singh, resident of Village and Post Sheron, Tehsil/District Tarn Taran, presently residing at Flat No. C-8/1203, Eleventh Floor, Prabh Premium Apartments, Sector-88, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, was issued License No. 349/IC dated 04.10.2019 for consultancy work. The validity of the said license had expired on 03.10.2024.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner stated that the licensee failed to submit monthly reports and advertisement-related information in time as per the Act/Rules and advisory, did not renew the license, complaints were received against the firm, the terms and conditions of the license were not complied with, and no reply/explanation was submitted to the notice. Therefore, the firm and the licensee violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012.
In view of the above facts, exercising the powers vested under Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, License No. 349/IC dated 04.10.2019 issued to Marg Group Firm has been cancelled with immediate effect.
