Accused Responsible for Factory Theft Apprehended Stolen Goods Recovered
Karnal, April 6: The CIA-1 team of the Karnal District Police has achieved a significant breakthrough by arresting an accused individual in connection with a factory theft case, following swift and decisive action. This operation was conducted by a team led by Head Constable Manoj Kumar, under the supervision of CIA-1 In-charge, Inspector Sandeep Singh.
The arrested accused has been identified as Suresh Kumar, son of Rishal Singh, a resident of Village Karsa Dod, Karnal. During a search, the police recovered the stolen items from the accused's possession; these included 2 batteries, 1 solar inverter, 10 Tulu pumps, 9 boxes of small street lights, and 6 boxes of large street lights.
Providing details regarding the matter, the Investigating Officer stated that the complainant, Rakesh Kumar, had filed a complaint with the police stating that his factory—R.S. Infra Private Limited—is situated on National Highway-44, and that the accused, Suresh Kumar, was employed there. According to the complaint, on the night of February 25–26, 2026, the accused stole various items from the factory, including solar plant batteries, an inverter, solar lights, street lights, cameras, Tulu pumps, and other miscellaneous goods.
Based on this complaint, Case No. 52 was registered on February 26, 2026, under Sections 305 and 331(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Butana Police Station. Following a thorough investigation into the case, the police team apprehended the accused and produced him before the Honorable Court, from where he has been remanded to the District Jail.
