Karnal, January 05:- The Karnal District Police's Anti-Auto Vehicle Theft Staff successfully apprehended an accused in connection with two-wheeler theft cases last evening.
A police team, led by Anti-Auto Vehicle Theft Staff In-charge Inspector Inder Singh and headed by Assistant Sub-Inspector Rajesh Kumar, arrested the accused, *Pankaj alias Sahil, son of Naresh Kumar, a resident of Takhan village, Karnal, from NDRI Road in connection with a two-wheeler theft case. One Activa scooter and one motorcycle were recovered from his possession.
The investigating officer stated that during intensive questioning, the accused revealed that he had stolen one Activa from Shakti Puram, Basant Vihar area, and one motorcycle from Sector-9, Karnal.
Following due process, the accused was produced before the honorable court today, from where he was sent to judicial custody.
