Karnal, December 27:- Under Operation Hotspot Domination, tightening the noose on illegal drug traffickers, a team from the District Police Station Ramnagar, acting on a tip-off and led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Vinod Kumar, apprehended an accused.
The police team arrested Gurnam, son of Bhagat Ram, a resident of Sukhdev Colony, Ramnagar, Karnal, from the Western Yamuna Canal area. 209.15 grams of charas (hashish) were recovered from the accused.
In this regard, the investigating officer informed that a case has been registered against the accused at Ramnagar Police Station under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act. The accused is being interrogated thoroughly, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the involvement of other accused in this drug trafficking case.
