Hoshiarpur: In a press note issued by former cabinet minister and senior BJP leader Tikshan Sood, he stated that the unwarranted remarks made by former Delhi Chief Minister Marlena Aatishi regarding Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur have deeply hurt the sentiments of the entire nation. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur, also known as "Hind ki Chadar" (the protector of India), was no ordinary person. His supreme sacrifice is unparalleled in the world. The entire nation, and especially the people of Punjab, have deep faith in him.
The Aam Aadmi Party leaders, who are habitually prone to speaking against the Ram Mandir and hurting people's religious sentiments, have continued this trend with Aatishi's aforementioned remarks about Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur. This constitutes a grave disrespect to that great personality.
Former Mayor Shiv Sood and Yashpal Sharma, who were present with Mr. Sood, said that the Aam Aadmi Party's sick mentality towards Sikhs and their Guru has been exposed through Mrs. Aatishi's statement. They demanded that the Delhi government register a criminal case against Aatishi and take action.
