Aam Aadmi Party announces to contest Bihar assembly elections

Patna- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday announced to contest all 243 seats of the Bihar Assembly and released its first list of 11 candidates in the state. Addressing a press conference here, AAP's state in-charge Ajesh Yadav said that the party is confident of repeating its government model in Delhi and Punjab in Bihar as well.
He said, "We have an accepted model of development and governance. The work done by the Aam Aadmi Party is being discussed across the country. The people of the Purvanchal region had contributed a lot to our victory in Delhi." He added, "Our national convener Arvind Kejriwal has said that if he can help us form the government in Delhi, then why not in Bihar?"
The party has fielded Mira Singh from Begusarai, Bhanu Bharti from Kasba seat in Purnia district, Arun Kumar Rajak from Phulwari seat in Patna, Pankaj Kumar from Bankipur in Patna, Ashok Kumar Singh from Govindganj in Motihari and retired Captain Dharamraj Singh from Buxar seat.
