A unique light and sound show Hind Di Chadar was presented in Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur- As part of the series of events being organized by the Punjab government dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the unparalleled martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the unique light and sound show ‘Hind Di Chadar’ based on the life, philosophy and unparalleled martyrdom of the Guru Sahib moved the thousands of people who gathered at the local Lajwanti Multipurpose Outdoor Stadium on Saturday evening.
In the ‘Hind Di Chadar’ show, the voice of right, truth, justice, philanthropy and human rights, which was raised by the unparalleled martyrdom given by Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji along with his beloved Gursikhs Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji at Chandni Chowk in Delhi 350 years ago, was presented in a unique manner.
Before the show, the Dhadi Jatha recited the stories of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji with the singing of Varas. During the show, the congregation, which included children, elders and youth, chanted Dhan Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and also chanted Jaikare.
On this occasion, Constituency MLA Hoshiarpur Bram Shankar Jimpa, MLA Dasuha Karambir Singh Ghuman, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, SSP Sandeep Kumar Malik, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Chairman Nagar Sudhar Trust Gurvinder Singh Pabla and other personalities participated.
Addressing the congregation on this occasion, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is celebrating the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on a grand scale as a humble servant. Under this, as part of a series of different events, this 45-minute light and sound show has digitally shed light on the life, legacy, teachings, unique Sikh history and the great sacrifice of Guru Ji.
He said that the unparalleled martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was not for any one religion or sect, but for the fundamental rights and respect of the entire humanity. He said that the Punjab government is ensuring that information about the unparalleled martyrdom of Guru Sahib Ji reaches every corner of Punjab and the country and that the coming generations can take inspiration and guidance from this great sacrifice.
He further said that with this show, the Punjab government has started state-level events dedicated to the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Sahib Ji, paying homage to the eternal legacy of the ninth Guru of India, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, and to convey the message of his unparalleled martyrdom, the principles of following the path of truth and religious freedom to the entire humanity. These events have been planned in such a way that every age group, especially youth and students, can be a part of them.
He said that from November 23 to November 25, while events are being organized at Sri Anandpur Sahib, religious events are also being organized at places where Guru Sahib's feet have been touched. He said that the Punjab government has started preparations on a large scale for these events.
He said that large-scale Nagar Kirtans are to be taken out from different places. Out of these, one Nagar Kirtan will start from Srinagar and enter Hoshiarpur district on November 21 and taking a unique initiative by the Punjab government, a grand 'Guard of Honour' will be given to the Nagar Kirtan on reaching every district for the first time.
On this occasion, the congregation expressed their emotion and said that they had a unique experience with the magnificent presentation of the show 'Hind Di Chadar', which beautifully depicted Guru Sahib's philosophy of peace, tolerance and strengthening global brotherhood.
