A special religious program was organized in Gautam Nagar
Hoshiarpur:- A special religious program was organized by Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan in the local Ashram Gautam Nagar, in which Sadhvi Shankarpreeta Bharti Ji, disciple of Sarva Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, delighted the congregation through her discourses. Sadhvi Ji said that today's man is being drawn towards external glitter and glamour in his desire to make himself perfect, but real perfection is possible only with internal rituals.
Giving an example, she explained that just as the raw iron extracted from the mine does not become useful without the hands of a skilled craftsman and the heat of fire, similarly human life also flourishes under the Guru's umbrella. Sadhvi Ji specifically mentioned that this time of the year is for the entire world to remember the stories of great sacrifice and selflessness, because during this time the entire family of the tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, had sacrificed themselves for the good of humanity.
She said that in today's modern era, it is good to have open minds and respect other cultures or Western traditions, but we should not get so lost in the celebrations of Western culture that we forget the great sacrifices of our ancestors and Gurus who gave their all for our existence.
Sadhvi Ji discussed with emotional heart those historical contexts when the elder Sahibzades wrote a new definition of bravery in the fort of Chamkaur and the younger Sahibzades in the foundations of Sirhind embraced death for religion and truth even at an innocent age. He clarified that Guru Gobind Singh Ji's 'Sarbans Daan' is not just a history, but a debt that we can never repay, therefore even in times of happiness and celebration, we should remain grateful to our roots and these great martyrs.
Sadhvi Ji said that if we only involve children in the race of modernity and do not connect them with our glorious history and traditions, then they will not be able to create a better society. Finally, he called upon us to take inspiration from the sacrifice of the Sikh Gurus and take refuge in a Brahmanishtha Satguru, because only spiritual awakening can connect us with our roots and move us forward on the true path of humanity.
