A post office branch will open in Pundark village MLA Jagmohan Anand

Karnal, November 19: Due to the efforts of MLA Jagmohan Anand, the Chief Postmaster General, Haryana Circle, Ambala, has granted approval to open a branch post office in Pundark village, under the Karnal Division, on a transfer basis under the "Rural Business and Postal Network Access Scheme" for the year 2025-26. The accounting office of the newly opened branch post office will be located at the Ramnagar Sub-Post Office (Karnal).
The post of Branch Postmaster, CSSRI Branch Post Office, has been transferred from the CSSRI Branch Post Office and redesignated as Branch Postmaster, Pundark Branch Post Office. The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Karnal Division, will negotiate with the Gram Panchayat Pundark to establish a branch post office in the Panchayat Bhawan. The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Karnal, will provide a trial set of seals and stamps to the newly opened Branch Post Office, Pundark, until the appropriate nomenclature seal and stamps for the new post office are supplied. The authorized cash, stamp, and certificate balances at the newly opened branch post office will be determined by the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Karnal. The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Karnal will carry out the necessary procedures for opening the new post office. The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Karnal Division will also make necessary updates to the establishment registers.
