Karnal: Last evening, the district police team from Gharaunda Police Station, led by Sub-Inspector Vipin Kumar, acting on credible information, arrested Hrithik, son of Sultan, a resident of Jail Singh Colony, Gharaunda (Karnal), from the Old Bus Stand, Gharaunda. 
The investigating officer stated that two of the accused's accomplices, Hemant, son of Ajay Sharma, and Sumit, son of Ashok, had already been arrested in this murder case. Case number 647, dated 26.10.2025, under sections 103(1), 115, and 118(1) of the Indian Penal Code, has been registered against these three at Gharaunda Police Station. 
The accused was produced before the court today. Intensive questioning of the accused is ongoing, and further investigation is underway.
